What goes wrong

A weak battery fails to spin the engine properly, the sprag clutch takes the shock, and it shatters. Documented across the 955i and 1050 platforms.

NHTSA's recall index does not recognise the model string "Speed Triple" , which happens constantly with motorcycles, because recalls are often filed under a model code rather than the marketing name. That is not the same as "no recalls."
