NHTSA recall 16V018000 (verified) covers a range of 2008-2012 Suzuki models including the DL1000 for an electrical system defect.
NHTSA's recall index does not recognise the model string "V-Strom 1000" , which happens constantly with motorcycles, because recalls are often filed under a model code rather than the marketing name. That is not the same as "no recalls."
