What goes wrong

NHTSA recall 13V449000 (verified) covers 2004-2013 GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 and 2005-2013 GSX-R1000 for a service brake defect. Separately, recall 11V108000 (verified) covers 2008-2010 Suzuki motorcycles for regulator/rectifier problems, and the surrounding generation is widely documented for stator and R/R meltdown caused by the regulator sitting in poor airflow.

On any used motorcycle, check the tire DOT date codes, ask for the valve service receipt, and look for drop damage on both sides before you talk about price.
