What goes wrong

The 1.6 GDI’s catalytic converter can overheat and disintegrate, and the debris scores the engine’s cylinders, oil burning, rod failure, and documented fires. Federal recall 19V120000 and the Engine Litigation II settlement cover much of it, dependent on the software campaign being done.
