What goes wrong

Early Milwaukee-Eight bikes have documented issues that Harley addressed for the 2020 model year. Documentation of what was and wasn't done under warranty is what separates a good example from a problem.

A note on the federal record for this bike
NHTSA's recall index does not recognise the model string "Street Glide" , which happens constantly with motorcycles, because recalls are often filed under a model code rather than the marketing name. That is not the same as "no recalls."
Look this VIN up directly at nhtsa.gov/recalls before you assume it is clear.

What to do about it

Before you hand over cash: Ask for the full dealer service history and any warranty work performed. A 2020-or-later M8 sidesteps most of this.
