What goes wrong

The single-cylinder F650's one-way starter clutch wears, and a weak battery makes it far worse, the engine kicks back against the sprag instead of spinning over cleanly.

NHTSA's recall index does not recognise the model string "F 650" , which happens constantly with motorcycles, because recalls are often filed under a model code rather than the marketing name. That is not the same as "no recalls."
